Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences

    The program combines coursework in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, as well as in areas related to human communication, such as linguistics, phonetics, anatomy and physiology, and language acquisition. In professional study, students are introduced to the procedures used in the evaluation and treatment of communication disorders. Electives are chosen according to individual interest.

    Undergraduates should note that an advanced degree in speech-language pathology or audiology is required for certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
