Department of Occupational Therapy & Rehabilitation Counseling

The occupational therapy programs house specialized facilities for the study of occupational performance and interpersonal interactions including specialized equipment for videoanalysis. In addition, the programs have designated teaching laboratories and the Goode Assessment Library.

Students enrolled in rehabilitation counseling programs, particularly those specializing in psychiatric rehabilitation, may study and work with leading researchers at the program's affiliated Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation.

Infant Language Laboratory The BU Infant Language Lab is investigating the origins of language learning. How do babies begin the process of language learning? What happens in the mind of an infant to enable the first words, phrases and sentences that babies begin to produce?
