The Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation is seeking to develop additional research-practice partnerships. The goal of the partnerships would be to collaborate to design program evaluations for innovative and promising practices in psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery promoting practices.
The Center would lend expertise in program evaluation and would assist the collaborating partner to design, implement and complete a program evaluation study. The Center will assist its practice partners to:
Define evaluation questions to be addressed
-
Develop the best evaluation strategies for the
questions and the settings
-
Locate or develop good measurement strategies
for the evaluation
-
Assist in training evaluators locally to insure good implementation of the program evaluation effort
-
Assist with data collection
-
Assist with analysis and interpretation
-
Assist with dissemination of findings including the writing of articles for publication
As part of this partnership, the Center will provide technical assistance and capacity building to develop program evaluation structures within the setting. Contact E. Sally Rogers, Sc.D., Director of Research, for additional information: erogers@bu.edu.
