Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Persons with Long-Term Mental Illness, 1999–2004

Co-Principal Investigators: Marianne Farkas & E. Sally Rogers

The RRTC was supported by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Reserach (NIDRR) within the Department of Education, and the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), a division of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

The RRTC consisted of nine research projects and seven training projects. The research projects are organized into three main areas:

Research Infrastructure Support Program

Principal Investigator: William Anthony

The Research Infrastructure Support Program was supported by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH).

 

A Study of Consumer-Operated Support Programs

Principal Investigator: E. Sally Rogers

This project was part of an on-site research study funded by the Center for Mental Health Services, Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) multisite initiative.

 

Exploratory Study of the Relationship Between Sustained Employment and Psychosocial Adjustment of People with Psychiatric Disabilities, 1999–2002

Principal Investigator: Zlatka Russinova
Project Director: Nancy Wewiorski

This Field Initiated Reserarch Project is supported by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) within the Department of Education.
