Behavioral Medicine (Mental Health)
Our behavioral medicine staff consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, a nurse clinical specialist, and social workers. We will help in addressing short-term psychological issues. When longer-term care is needed, we will facilitate referral to expert clinicians in the local community. Care in our Behavioral Medicine Department is available on an appointment basis. Check the schedules of our Behavioral Medicine providers. Please call 617-353-3569 to set up an initial appointment. Behavioral Medicine providers are available 24 hours a day on-call for urgent situations.
Faculty and Staff should also feel free to contact Behavioral Medicine at 617-353-3569 if they are concerned about a student. There is a specific clinician affiliated with each College, and available to talk with you about accessing help. If that clinician is not available, faculty and staff should speak with any of the Behavioral Medicine clinicians. To find out about your own “Clinician in the College”.
Half of Us and Ulifeline are helpful resources that provide college students with a lot of great information about mental health issues.
