Faculty
Our faculty are nationally recognized for excellent teaching, research, scholarship, and practice. Their involvement and leadership in social work practice methods, policy, and research continuously enrich the educational content of our program. They bring their wealth of practitioner and research experience into their classroom teaching, addressing critical and contemporary issues in fields of practice such as substance abuse, aging, children and adolescents, and families. According to a 2007 article in The Chronicle of Higher Education, SSW ranks eighth nationally in faculty productivity among schools of social work with doctoral programs.
