The Northeastern Massachusetts Program is held at the Boston University Corporate Education Center in Tyngsboro , MA . This facility is owned by Boston University .. The NEMA SSW Office is located in room 141B and the Library Resource Room is located in room 141C.

BUILDING HOURS
The Tyngsboro Campus is open at the following times:
Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Saturday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM ( 5PM if needed)
Sunday Closed
The building is closed on all observed holidays.
NEMA Library Resource room Hours:
The Resource room is open on Fridays from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Reserve materials for courses are available in the resource room.
PARKING
Free parking is available in designated areas at the Tyngsboro Campus.
SMOKING POLICY
The Boston University Corporate Education Center at Tyngsboro is a smoke-free facility.
BREAK AREA
Break areas for the School of Social Work participants are directly outside the classroom; other areas of the building are also available, including the front lounge on the second floor. Vending machines are located on the first floor.
TELEPHONES
All calls to the Tyngsboro Campus go through a main switchboard operator at (978) 649-9731. Messages will not be taken and classes will not be interrupted to deliver telephone messages unless there is an emergency. There are pay telephones on the hallways of each floor.
Messages for the School of Social Work can be left at the Off Campus Program Info Line: 1 (800) 322-8999. Messages for the NEMA Librarian may be left at 978-949-9731x201.
CELLULAR TELEPHONE AND PAGERS
Cellular telephones and pagers are distracting during a class. Please turn off cellular telephone and pagers while in classroom or switch them to a "vibrate mode".
EMERGENCIES AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
In case of an emergency at the Tyngsboro Campus, School of Social Work students should notify the security staff. In addition, please be sure to leave a message for the Senior Staff Coordinator at 617-353-3766.
MAILBOXES
Each NEMA student has a mailbox located in the first floor hallway. Please check your mailbox before and after each class; this is a crucial communication link between you and the school.
MAIL-OUT REQUEST
If you will not be attending off-campus classes in a given semester, you must notify the Off Campus Programs office and the Assistant Dean for Off-Campus Programs, in writing, before the semester begins. You will be placed on the mail-out list for that semester. If you wish to continue on the list for more than one semester, we will need a note from you each semester you wish to stay on the list.
CLASSROOMS
Classes are usually held on the first or second floor of the Boston University Corporate Education Center. Since other non-social work related activities are scheduled in the building, students should check the monitors located at the entrances to the building for room assignments each day. Students should not leave materials or possessions in the classroom overnight.
DRESS
Comfortable, informal attire is generally appropriate at the campus.
