*As this goes to print, new guidelines have been developed for a special equivalency seminar that provides an option for MSW/MPH students to fulfill the SPH Practicum requirement (PH971). Current course guidelines and assignments are included in this packet for review and planning. For further information on meeting the SPH Practicum Requirement, please contact Practicum Director, Scott Harris (scotth@bu.edu).
**Students wishing to reduce the heavy course and credit load in Semester 6 should take a summer course at some point in the three-year program.
Please Note: This is a sample program only. Your program may differ due to courses selected, your major or concentration, or full- or part-time status. Some concentrations at SPH require a thesis; please read the SPH bulletin carefully and consult with your advisor there. Other concentrations may require you to take different versions of the basic core courses. You must be in touch with the program administrators to create a program that reflects your interests and needs.
