Student List Serv
An internal student list serv (ssw-social-list) is set up for current Charles River Students to communicate and share news, from upcoming events to impromptu gatherings. Students are added to the list serv upon registration and will be removed after graduation. This is a closed list, so only students and their listed email addresses, will be able to send and reply to messages. A student who wishes to add his or her personal email account (i.e., a non-BU account, either Yahoo , Gmail, etc) can email us to have that account added. Students can opt out of the ssw-social list serv at any time. Read more information about using the student list serv.
Facebook
BUSSW students are invited to join the School's Facebook page to learn and share the latest news. An alumni group and several sub-interest groups have also been set up. A simple search will give a complete listing of group options.
Student Mail Folders
Each Charles River student is given a mail folder, located in the Student Lounge, on the first floor of the SSW. Faculty frequently return assignments here, and administrators may periodically share flyers and other information with you.
Student E-Newsletter
During the academic year, a weekly student e-newsletter goes out to Charles River Campus students. All students with BU accounts are automatically placed on the distribution list, and students may opt-out or sign up at any time.
