Founded in 1943, the Professional Education Programs (PEP) at Boston University School of Social Work takes pride in offering relevant, stimulating educational opportunities for social workers and other human service providers throughout New England. The Professional Education Programs (PEP) at BU School of Social Work proudly announces its Fall 2009 certificate programs:
- Cognitive and Behavioral Interventions
- Effective Practice with Older Adults
- Assessment and Treatment of Psychological Trauma
These fall certificate programs are designed to meet the needs of today's working professionals and feature a 12-week semester with classes meeting in the evenings for two and a half hours. Each certificate program totals 30 CECs/CEUs and incorporates techniques and skills that can be applied to private practice, agency settings and other practice areas.
