Summer Term features a number of exciting programs that are offered exclusively during the summer months. Make sure you take a few moments to read about these special programs—you might find just the summer experience you’re looking for.

Boston University Physical Education, Recreation & Dance Program (PERD)

The Fitness & Recreation Center and the Department of Physical Education, Recreation & Dance offer a wide variety of summer recreational programs, including classes in aquatics, climbing, court sports, dance, fitness, mind/body, emergency medical services, sailing, and rowing. The department also offers children's programs such as swim lessons, dance and summer day camp. Programs are offered to the BU community as well as to the general public. Center for English Language Programs (CELOP)

Boston University International Programs

Boston University International Programs, the leader in international internships, offers a number of summer opportunities to live, intern, and explore through programs in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America, as well as programs in Los Angeles and Washington DC. In addition to our internship programs - which combine coursework with a personalized internship placement - we have language, culture, liberal arts, and fine arts programs in Argentina, Peru, China, France, England, Senegal, Spain, and Italy. School of Public Health (SPH)

Summer Institute in International Health (SPH)

The Department of International Health offers courses and certificate programs on a variety of critical international health issues. Built on 25 years of training health professionals from all over the globe, the Summer Institute offers practical, skills-oriented programs in June, July, and August. Summer Youth Programs

In addition to the four pre-college programs offered by Summer Term (Summer Challenge, Summer Preview, High School Honors, and Research Internship in Science and Engineering), Boston University also offers 14 other youth and pre-college programs during the summer.
