It’s never too early to start thinking about college. Now, with the new, one-week Summer Preview Program, high school students entering their freshman or sophomore year in fall 2009 can discover a valuable, early college experience—and gain excellent preparation for the increasingly competitive college admissions process.

Summer Preview provides an opportunity for students to see what a college-level course is like, explore an academic interest in-depth, or investigate a subject they are curious about. Summer Preview students enroll in one, non-credit seminar, choosing from four exciting subjects. Each seminar is designed to engage students in an intensive exploration of a specific topic through lectures, discussions, and individual and group work. Students also benefit from a college workshop that gets them thinking about what they can do in high school to maximize the effectiveness of their college applications.

For commuters only, Summer Preview also provides a variety of structured social activities that provide exposure to Boston University and Boston—and to the expectations of college life.
