College Courses at Boston University (BU) Summer Term 2008

Summer Challenge Program

The Boston University Summer Challenge Program offers a two-week preview of college life and coursework in a non-credit setting. Summer Challenge is the perfect college summer program for high school students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year in Fall 2008 to concentrate on a high level of learning and achievement with their peers, without focusing on grades.

The program is a great balance of learning and fun. The people at BU really make you feel welcome.

Summer Challenge students enroll in two Boston University seminars. Students often choose one seminar that addresses an existing interest and use their second seminar to explore something completely new. During their seminars, students participate in lectures, discussions, individual and group work, project-based assignments, and field trips.

Small class sizes of about 20 students ensure ample attention from experienced college instructors as students build upon their high school learning to meet the standards of college-level work.
