Registration for BU StudentsBU students who have an active BU login account and Kerberos password can register for summer classes on the Student Link. You don't need an advisor PIN number for summer registration, although it is always a good idea to check with your advisor before signing up for classes. Students can continue to add/drop courses on the Student Link until the end of the add/drop period for their particular course. No changes are possible once the add/drop deadline has passed. See the Calendar section for the deadlines for standard six-week summer 1 and 2 courses. A Note about Course OverloadsStudents who wish to take more than two courses in a six-week summer session must fill out a paper Class Adjustment Form for their overload course and pass in the form to the Summer Term Office (755 Commonwealth Avenue). Most Schools and Colleges require approval to overload your schedule—check with your School or College’s advising office and obtain the appropriate permissions before passing in your Class Adjustment Form. PaymentCharges for tuition and fees will appear on your student account as soon as you register for classes. These charges will remain, and you will be responsible for payment, unless you officially withdraw or drop your course(s). See the Tuition and Fees section for additional payment information.
