Changes to IS&T locations and services
We’ve recently changed services and locations, so please note the following before looking for resources previously located at 111 Cummington Street:
- The large PC lab, printers, and scanners previously located in the basement of 111 Cummington have been replaced by new resources at Mugar Memorial Library, 771 Commonwealth Avenue. For more information, see www.bu.edu/common/technology.
- The Help Desk, Personal Computing Support Center (PCSC), and account services, such as BU login renewals and changing forgotten Kerberos passwords, formerly available at 111 Cummington have been relocated to new IT Help Centers in Kenmore Square (533 Commonwealth Avenue) and the Library. The IT Help Center in Kenmore Square offers hardware and software sales and service. For more information, see www.bu.edu/tech/help.
- Information regarding the University’s new printing system and services, including how to print from your own computer to printers at Mugar and residence halls, is available at www.bu.edu/tech/help/myprint.
IS&T's front office
IS&T's front office is located at 111 Cummington Street.
Once inside the 111 Cummington Street entrance ...
Information Services & Technology's front office is located on street level, through a wooden door on the left, just inside the entrance. Front office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The IT Help Center also has a tutorial facility, located at 100 Cummington Street. To find it, leave the main IT building at 111 Cummington, go back out to the street and walk down the sidewalk to your right. At the corner where Cummington Street bends to the right, cross directly to your left and enter 100 Cummington Street where you see a ramp leading up to a pair of glass doors.
