Power Out
A wide swath of South Campus residences and businesses on both sides of Beacon and neighboring streets lost power yesterday afternoon. Passers-by could hear a constant ringing (indicating an outage) from dorms along Arundel and Buswell streets. NSTAR crews scurried down manholes to investigate, but the outage continued into the evening. Photo by Edward A. Brown
