Great to hear about all the exciting improvements going on there. However, it would be even better if BU jettisoned the idea of artificial turf altogether and planted natural grass. It may take some more maintenance, but it's worth the change. The school could really make a positive splash for the environment and for its public relations by switching to grass to offset some carbon emissions. And, despite FieldTurf's cushioning, nothing could be better for the athletes - especially the soccer players - than natural grass.
