As someone who drives to campus each day, it has become clear to me that the greatest single hazard to bicyclists on Comm Ave is the IPod they are listening to while cycling. I am highly supportive of BU's and Boston's efforts to increase bicycle use, but cyclists MUST UN-PLUG THEIR EARS and FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD. I hope that Mercurio's panel will raise awareness of this issue.
