School Spirit

The School Spirit Committee is one of the most energetic bunches of Student Union members that the Assembly has seen in many years. Their goal is to bring the campus together to celebrate our school's traditions and spirit.

Last year, the members of the School Spirit Committee produced a Terrier-T, an affordable, very cool t-shirt for students to wear in order to show their spirit wherever they go. These are now sold in Barnes and Noble for $10. It's basically the cheapest, coolest, student-designed shirt you can buy.

This year, Spirit is working to increase school spirit in the short term. They are planning Spirit Marches before winter sports games where students will "cheer their way" up to West Campus. Face painting and hot chocolate included. They are also working with other groups to promote World AIDS Day, December 1, the same day as the much anticipated BU/BC Hockey game! We want students to "wear red for BU, wear red for the World."

It's a really exciting time to be a BU student and without a doubt the feeling of School Spirit is on the rise!! GO TERRIERS!
