Description
With Macromedia Flash, you can add life to static web pages by
incorporating animation and sound without significantly increasing
download time. Besides enhancing the look and feel of the site,
you can use Flash to interface with other web technologies, such
as JavaScript or server-side applications.
In this class, you will learn about the Flash interface and tools,
along with basic concepts of graphics and animation. You will have
plenty of hands-on practice, and an opportunity to make your own
animation ready for use on the Web. Bring a PC-formatted floppy
disk or Zip disk if you'd like to save the project you create in
the tutorial.
Benefits
After completing this class, you will be able to:
- create a project in Flash.
- understand the difference between vector and raster graphics,
and use them appropriately.
- understand the elements of the Flash environment: the Timeline,
Object Library, Symbols, Buttons, and Actions.
- create a simple animation sequence using your own or pre-built
graphics.
- preview and export your Flash project to Dreamweaver.
